Description
This is a St. Paul Holy Card. Saint Paul is the patron saint of snakes, hailstorms, authors, and more. He is also known as Apostle Paul, Saul of Tarsus, and Memorial Day is celebrated in his honor on January 25th. He was converted on his way to Damascus, Syria, and his conversion had a profound spiritual effect on him. He began travelling, preaching, and teaching, and his letters to the churches he founded are a large part of the New Testament. He is also a martyr, and was beheaded in Rome in 65 AD. He was canonized in the 4th century AD and has since been a patron saint of Catholic Action, the Cursillo movement, lay people, the Worshipful Company of Fruiterers, the Worshipful Company of Upholders, authors, evangelists, hospital public relations, newspaper editorial staff, public relations personnel, public relations work, publishers, reporters, rope braiders, rope makers, saddle makers, saddler, tent makers, and writers.
